All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email. The following cancellation fees apply based on the notice period before the scheduled departure date:
- 60 or more days before departure: 25% cancellation fee (deposit forfeited).
- 30 to 59 days before departure: 50% of the total booking cost.

If we or the operator must cancel a booking due to circumstances within our control, you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.
Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended and in many cases mandatory for all bookings. Your policy should cover, at a minimum:
- Medical expenses and hospitalisation
- Emergency medical evacuation, including air ambulance from remote areas
- Trip cancellation and interruption
- Personal liability
- Loss or damage to personal belongings and luggage
We may request proof of adequate travel insurance before your departure. Inspirations Africa is not liable for any costs arising from inadequate or absent insurance coverage.
Golf Equipment Liability
- Guests are responsible for their own golf equipment at all times. We recommend insuring your golf equipment through your travel or specialist sports insurance policy.
- Club hire is available at participating courses. Hired equipment must be returned in the condition received. Damage to hired equipment will be charged at replacement cost.
- We are not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal golf equipment during transfers, at accommodation, or on the course.
- Golf buggies, where available, are subject to the course's own terms of use. Damage to buggies caused by reckless or negligent driving will be charged to the guest.
Course Rules & Etiquette
- All guests must adhere to the dress code of each golf course. Typical requirements include collared shirts, tailored shorts or trousers, and soft-spike golf shoes. Specific requirements will be communicated in your pre-departure pack.
- Course rules, including pace of play guidelines, must be observed. Slow play may result in being asked to let following groups play through.
- All divots must be replaced and bunkers raked after use.
- The Serengeti NP Golf Course operates within a wildlife ecosystem. Special rules apply: no chasing or disturbing wildlife, mandatory wildlife ranger escort on certain holes, and designated wildlife refuge areas where ball retrieval is not permitted.
- Alcohol is permitted on the course in moderation. The course marshal may refuse service or ask guests to leave if behaviour becomes disruptive or unsafe.
Golf-Specific Cancellation
- Tee time cancellations with less than 48 hours notice are non-refundable.
- Course closures due to weather, wildlife activity, or maintenance will result in either rescheduling or a round at an alternative course. If neither option is possible, a pro-rata refund for the affected round(s) will be provided.
- Tournament entry fees are non-refundable once registration has been confirmed.
Health & Safety on Course
- The Serengeti course is located in a wildlife area. Animals roam freely and encounters are expected. Guests must follow all ranger and marshal instructions regarding wildlife.
- Guests are responsible for sun protection, hydration, and wearing appropriate footwear.
- First aid facilities are available at the clubhouse. Emergency evacuation procedures are in place for medical emergencies.
- Lightning protocol: play is suspended immediately upon lightning warning. Guests must follow evacuation instructions to designated shelters.
