1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using the Serengeti Golf Safaris website (serengetigolfsafaris.com) and booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Booking and Payment
- A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking.
- The remaining balance is due 60 days before the departure date.
- Bookings made within 60 days of departure require full payment at the time of booking.
- Prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.
- Prices are subject to change until a booking is confirmed with a deposit.
- Park fees and government levies are subject to change without notice and will be passed on at cost.
3. Cancellation Policy
- 60+ days before departure: Full refund less the 30% deposit.
- 30-59 days before departure: 50% of the total package price refunded.
- Less than 30 days before departure: No refund.
- Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email.
- We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance including cancellation cover.
4. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all golf safari guests. Your policy must cover medical expenses, medical evacuation (including air ambulance from remote areas), trip cancellation, trip interruption, and personal belongings. Proof of insurance may be requested before departure.
5. Health and Safety
Safari activities and golf in the Serengeti involve inherent risks including wildlife encounters, remote locations, variable weather, and physical exertion. Guests are responsible for disclosing any medical conditions that may affect their ability to participate safely. All guests must follow instructions from guides, rangers, and course marshals at all times.
6. Wildlife Encounters
The Serengeti NP Golf Course operates within a wildlife ecosystem. Animals roam freely and encounters are expected. Guests must maintain safe distances from wildlife at all times and follow the directions of course rangers. Serengeti Golf Safaris is not liable for delays or interruptions caused by wildlife activity.
7. Itinerary Changes
While we make every effort to operate itineraries as planned, circumstances including weather, road conditions, wildlife movements, and operational requirements may necessitate changes. We reserve the right to modify itineraries for safety or operational reasons. Suitable alternatives of equivalent value will be provided where possible.
8. Limitation of Liability
Serengeti Golf Safaris acts as an agent for accommodation providers, transport operators, and activity providers. We are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or death arising from the negligence or acts of third-party service providers. Our total liability is limited to the total package price paid by the guest.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of Serengeti Golf Safaris and protected by copyright law. Content may not be reproduced, distributed, or transmitted without prior written permission.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tanzania.
